Luz e Souza, Sérgio Black women in Canada and Brazil are the basis of society, which means that they are payed lower incomes and suffer from different forms of prejudice in society. Jamaican-born, living in Canada for many years, Afua Cooper, and Brazilian Alzira Rufino are two women whose activism put in discussion ideas that support those discourses.
